There was a thread with the discussion of building a vape. I can not find the thread but I started planning a home build. Had a flow chart of what I wanted to do, and started sourcing parts. Then I found the Arizer and it did everything in my chart for about $100 so I dropped the build and just bought it. One of the options I came up with was rebuilding a hair dryer. One thing that came up was the heating element. A wire element may contain heavy metals that I didn't want to inhale but I was never able to verify that. A ceramic heating element is supposed to avoid that problem. To make an effective vape the temperature needs to be variable and controlled. Vape temp is just below combustion temp so if it gets to hot you get smoke not vape.
ck, i literally was outside an hour ago and thought about the wifes hair dryer. wow mad scientist telepathy, who knew? i know she has more than 1 so...... to be cont'd
I’ve been using the IVG 2400 4 in 1 for a few weeks now and it's working great with dry herb. The temp control is decent, and it's easy to switch between modes if you ever want to try oil or wax too. The battery life’s longer than I expected, which is a big plus on busy days. Cleaning it’s not too bad either, just remember to stay on top of it.
I haven’t tried that setup yet, but I’m planning to experiment with a few new approaches. For now, I’m enjoying the vapes I picked up from https://ecigone.co.uk/ while I figure out what to try next. If you find a tweak that really improves your sessions, definitely share it, always good to learn from what others discover.
I discovered this discussion a bit late but I want to share my experience. I tried this vape but I didn't like it and it wasn't strong enough and I had a scratchy feeling in my throat after smoking.
Then a few weeks later I switched to this Norddampf Relict Vaporizer vape and it felt much better I've had it for six months now and I don't plan on changing it
