SOIL Droopy and curling leaves

Looch90

New member
I am growing two different strains, gg#4 and gelato. They were both growing vigorously and then the gg#4 stopped and they are now droopy and the leaves are curling in. The gelato plants are still growing like normal and I am doing everything the same for all of my plants.

hey Looch the Gorilla glue is an awesome strain but really finicky , I had to flush my GG twice during my grow do to nute lock out, I flushed by running phed water though the plant then let it drain and ph the run off for coco you want 6 to 6.5 for dirt 6.5 to 7 PH also my buds were on the lite side until the 8th week I gave them molasses and water and the buds doubled in size in three days when a plant has nute lock out it doesn't take up any water or nutes thats why it looks droopy I would flush until run off ph is right it may take 20 gallons to flush it out so keep at it and good luck its worth all the aggravation if you want a peek at what you are growing look in 4 week update under my past grows

That’s the first thing I checked, I water every three days sometimes 4 it depends on the dirt if it feels dry that’s when I water. And I am watering them all the same so I’m going to try this flushing thing that jar head says thank you guys for your input this is my first time growing indoor.

My temperature is around 84 when the lights are on and it drops to like 72 when they are off.
i water every three days usually, I use the nutrients every other water at half strength
it’s in ocean forest soil

that sounds good and with most other strains it would be fine .During my grow the GG locked out on me twice and a good flush solved my problems Quickly, the thing that told me I had lockout was that I water every three days and then the water lasted 5 days that told me they were not drinking so I flushed them then 3 days later they were looking for water again, if you need instructions on flushing let me know but its pretty simple

Evening L90, I might be wrong, but don't think so, sounds like OJH has given you the right diagnosis of your plant, you should see improvements soon, Good Luck L90

I flushed my gg#4 plants now I did notice that some of the dirt inside was hard like balls of dirt I broke them up and loosened up my pots a bit. I also did notice that my gelato plants are looking over watered so I might have issues with the Nute lock and over watering. These pots suck I’m going to switch to smart pots. Or does anyone have a better idea. thanks

ya smart pots switched to them myself but if you want to grow in a 5 gallon container then you have to buy 7 or 10 gallon bags for the same amount of dirt as one of those hard pots.
what kind of medium are you growing in. your comment about clumps of dirt set off the alarm bells lol, a hard growing medium will cause problems for your plant they can't breath or take up as nutes like they should good luck Looch keep us posted

I’m using the Fox Farms ocean forest soil I have my plants in 3 gallon plastic pots right now

whats your temp getting up to in the first picture the plants look healthy then in second picture they are all droopy what the difference between the two pictures, how far apart did you take them

Hey Looch how was your Holiday, well that makes more sense lol .so have they stayed looking good or did she start dropping again
