Does vacuum storage overly dry the buds?

I bought a vacuuming adapter to draw a vacuum on my mason jars. But now I'm wondering (because jars don't collapse like vacuum bags) whether too much of the moisture will be drawn into the empty vacuum space of the jars and make the buds dry. I've googled and YouTubed but haven't heard anyone talk about moisture. I'm zero-for-one hydrating dry buds and I don't want my entire harvest be that way. (Which was proper moisture but the buds were soft and didn't grind well.) I'm thinking a lot of my grow will be stored for 4 to 6 months. Advise is always treasured.

Howdy 90Gizmo, a friend of mine did that with His Food Saver vacuum storage machine. He gave me some to try and I could not tell any difference in the bud. He said that He used the low vacuum setting and kept the bagged bud in the freezer (for long term storage). I have one of those machines, but I prefer to cure/store in glass jars and do not use it for my bub. Long term freezer storage can dry out the buds as well (remember freeze dried coffee?)
There are pluses and minuses to either way of storage, If it is going to be stored for 4-6 months, I'd say just keep it in the fridge (to minimize mold and fungus growth).
