Does anyone think cuttings flower faster than from seed?

I have noticed that any cutting I switch to 12/12 seems to go through the flowering phase faster, does anyone notice this as well?
 
Ya know i've never really paid close attention to that Ace1973 Sometime when i can remember LOL i will make a point to keep a record. Man how i like stoner talks about this stuff. One needs a same strain seed an clone.....it may be a while for me to see this theory. I remember aways back we had a post about this.
 
I revegged a plant after harvest and used it as a mother for clones. It seemed to me that the clones vegged faster and flowered faster. No scientific data to back it up - just intuition.
 
I think this could be true but only if the seed plant is young. The clone is typically going to be fully mature as soon as it is rooted while the plant grown from seed will take several weeks to reach the same maturity.
 
In my experience, older moms yes, newer ones no. I have a couple moms who’s lineage is close to 10yrs and their clones are fully mature in about 6.5wks. When I started growing from this line it took close to 9wks to harvest. I’m growing a bunch of different strains right now so I’ll be testing this out again once we decide which ones we want to keep as mommies. All my current moms came from bag seed.
 
I have a cutting and it seems to be in the third week of flower already, and it has only been two and a half weeks....I find it strange, yet, interesting.
 
I have a plant now that is faster than normal and she is a cutting, compared to the mother plant I grew from seed, the cutting seems faster.
 
I have had this cutting from a motherplant for 6 months, it just seems faster than when I grew from the seed. I will let you know the results if you are interested.
 
Maybe have someone else you know to be a good grower plant one in their set up.

I think they probably flower sooner also because they are adapted to the home set up.

In the wild they don't fall in perfect conditions but must adjust/adapt to the environment, as clones they have already done this.
