I got some free Afghan seeds and they are in flowering stage and a lot of the trichomes seem to be on the leaves around the buds, including the longer leaves. Is this typical for this variety? and if so typical to include leaves in bud material?
Any trim with a decent bit of trichomes will be good for edibles. The little tiny leaves you can leave with the bud if you want. I don’t generally leave these in my bud unless they are a nice colour or extremely frosty but others leave it as part of the bud.
Thanks for feedback. There is significantly more of the "frost" on the Afghan leaves than on other plants.Only grown 6 plants a year for 3 years but had not seen this before. Just wondered if it is typical for this variety.
