Do the pistils darken from the top down?

Hey everyone!!

Thanks to this amazing site and great advice, I am well into my first grow.

Here is a pic. Is this how the pistils darken? From the top down?

That's a fine looking bud you have there!! The pistils darken over time rather randomly over the bud. The top ones probably darken first because they are exposed to the most heat and light. Watch the trichomes to determine ripeness. Whatever you're doing, keep it up!

If you're asking if they darken from the tips toward the bud, yes most of the time that's what I've seen. It looks really strange and like something may be wrong but it's totally normal.
