Do not buy -biodegradable pots

After 4 months they didn’t degrade and they probably hindered root growth

That's a common complaint with those pots. I have used them in the past in the veggie garden and had no problems but they don't seem to degrade in pots. I suspect because of the almost total dry back between waterings. I've even stopped using them for veggies.

Correct. Lots of comments re these not working over the years. Hopeless.
