SOIL Do i turn my lights up to 600

This is my first grow and im growing AK47 fem fast grow
Northern lights fem fast grow and Amnesia fem fast grow
They have been in pots 4 weeks. im now changing my lights to 12/12 from 18/6 when do i turn my bulb to 600 or do i leave it at 400 for a while. This is all so my first Question on the site so could you help me plz.

Crank those lights up. Just be sure to watch how the plants react. They’ll tell you if they don’t like it, but you should be perfectly fine.

Welcome Jazy. I agree- light is life so turn em up! If the top leaves start to curl up like a taco raise the light a few inches.

I've had to dial back my ballasts because of excessive heat. When I put new girls under the lights I start off with lights at full power but way up high and ease them down over the course of a couple days.

Give 'em all the light you can. Are you using an MH or HPS bulb? A lot of us who use both like to keep the MH in for 10-15 days after flip to help control the stretch. If you're not already, next time try to match the bulb to the wattage your ballast is putting out. I switch mine up and down as needed which honestly isn't very often but I keep 250/400/600 watt MH & HPS bulbs on hand for when I do.

I was thinking of getting exra bulbs next time this is my first grow and its quite addictive there just loads of stuff you want to get better bits all the time its never ending.Lol.
