In wk 3 day 4 of flower. The plant is doing good. It looks like I should reduce some foliage in the middle of the mainline but I don't know if it's needed. What do you guys think?
Yes lookin good.... I would only cut fans that shade budsites only, remember that less is more and you can always cut a few more later but you can never put them back on.. you are at the point where you won't get new leaves
At this stage I let the plant tell me which leaves can go. They'll use up what's in them, yellow, and droop. Then you can take them. They're good looking plants and I don't see any point in depriving them of any energy.
I would probably cut a couple of them. Unless it's an auto, I would ask SoOrbudgal why she said not to cut any if it was an auto. I know she grows autos .... I've never grown an auto there could be a good reason not to
MeEasy i don't remove leaf from my autos that young was what i was meaning to do. I wait till stretching during preflower or flower is done then i will remove the center area of leaf if needed. Man these lemon skunk auto have very few fans but loads of suger leaf. I think removing leaf too early in either strain photo or auto they just grow more and more leaf. Maybe it's just my odd view of what i've seen and done.
