Do I keep the 12/12 cycle going till harvest, or just until flowering gets going?

Hi, and thanks for letting me join.
I'm sure I'll have more questions, but for now this is it. Single plant (California Indica), grown outdoors (UK south coast), and for the past week I've been bringing it in and moving it out on a 12/12 cycle to get flowering going. Do I have to keep this up till the end? Currently a week into the stretch.
