DIY: How to replace bearings in your exhaust fan

Ok so I decided to fix my fan so I only needed to get 1 for my tent an not have to shell out money for 2 fans.. it turned out being pretty simple.

Ok so first U wanna take the electrical box off the side, make sure U take a pic or draw a diagram of the wiring,

Next take the leather cover off the fan

Next take the screws off on the outside of the fan all the way around

Then pull the fan apart so you can get to the inside like so.
there are 4 screws holding this bracket onto the coil an 2 more at each end, remove all of them

So after U pull that bracket off an you can see the back of the coil, there is a small hole about the size of a quarter that's covered with a thin piece of metal. I used a hammer an screw driver an beat it out.. really thin an breaks pretty easy so don't hit it to hard

So after U beat that out U will see a little C clip like this.. I have pliers especially for them but U may be able to use needle noses or somethin to get it ,just be careful not to break it!!

After U take the clip off U can pull the coil right out, the bearings sit in this groove on each side.. there pressed in so U gotta beatem out.. I had a thin metal rod I put thru the bearing on the other side a. Beatem out that way.. then put the new bearings in.. U have to press them in I, used a C clamp an pressed them in at the same time or just get something small an flat an hit them in with a hammer carefully!! Then just put everything back together an U got a working fan
