HELP! Distance led lights should be from plants

I have got a viparspectra 300w LED and wanting to put 3 Auto's under it in soil using 20L pots. How far should my light be from the top of the Seedlings? during veg? and during flowering plants? Cheers guys!

Hey I just recently started using a viparspectra LED the instructions in the manual actually worked pretty well. I would use a CFL for seedlings though to get em going well.

Thank's for the advice I'll be sure to look at the manual. I'll see if I can get a CFL for propagation/seedlings. Will probably get another 300w Viparspectra LED too as not sure 1 will be enough for 3 Auto Mazar's? What's your thoughts?

Morning Afroman1, It all depends on if you can keep them trained close enough, another 300watt LED, wouldn't hurt anything except make your tent a few degrees warmer, as for height, usually start seedlings at 24-28 inches, then a couple of weeks later you can lower it to 14-18inches.

I use 3 300w leds for 2 autos so yea another light won't hurt nothing

Hey Afroman I start my 300w leds at 20 inches for seedlings with no trouble , that being said I just raised 3 lights so they were even with the two biggest plants Light and I will let you know if it makes a difference
