Dispensary Weed vs Homegrown Weed - Which has better quality?

It's a crapshoot most of the time with dispensary weed in regard to the nutrient chemicals used and pesticide/antifungal agents. Medical weed is another story because of the high standards imposed on growers. You pay mightily though for that clean med weed. Another thing I've noticed about people who buy dispensary weed regularly is that they seem to think that the green chlorophyll taste in rushed to market bud is an intrinsic aspect of good weed and that cured bud is stale.

I have not ever found anything that matches what I have produced last few grows. Not perfect grows by no means but still 1st rate buds.
I put that down too a decent veg time, genetics, perfect environment, hand trimming, drying and curing in glass.
And a heap of love.
Some home grown around here you wouldn't feed to your dog. Some have no idea, others produce top shelf so the home grow is a mix. Black market shit is typically potent and tight but almost always full of shit chemicals.
Dispo stuff here is all medical and its a mixed bag as to moisture content age etc. US$40 to $50 for 10g of bud is usual but I've sent it as low as $25 and much higher too. All seems pretty decent. Word travels fast if its not.

to me the disp. weed just tastes like plastic and after i scraped the pipe out it doesn't even look like weed resin. the funny part is med. weed is about 5 bucks an 1/8 cheaper. but it's not enough of a diff. for the hassle of a med. card. and i definitly qualify

In my part of Canada, store bought stuff can range from $80 to $130 per oz. For the most part it’s pretty good. I’ve done cannabinoid testing on a few that were higher THC than advertised. Most of the ones i tested were slightly lower THC than advertised, but only by a percent or two.
But I’d rather smoke my own stuff, hands-down. It’s clean and fresh. Hand trimmed. And my joints burns beautifully from first light to the last toke.

$50-$55 for 3.5 grams here and that's prob. 22% at best so do the math 400 plus for an .oz of so-so weed my nieghbor used to weigh hers and she said it's always short

I haven’t had any issues with underweight products. It’s usualy very dry, so i feel like I’m not paying for water weight. 😂 But it never tastes like it’s been cured properly…like it was dried to crispy-crunchy feel in a hurry and then sealed in the bag. (Also get stuff over 30% here.)
