HELP! Did my first grow hermie? 🤔

Hi all,

From the not-so-not-so-brilliant mind of someone who had to ask where buds grow 😅

Initially I was very excited to start seeing brown pistils yesterday morning.

Then I posted above pic on Reddit to celebrate and a lot of people had comments about how it may be due to pollenation/I should check for "nanners"/shouldn't be excited.

So I read an article on GWE as I anxiously waited for lights to come on. Searched all over once they did and started panicking that they have nanners when I found these:

Went to bed thinking the whole crop was hermie. 😞

But then I decided to post this photo on Reddit and popular opinion is this is a calyx not a nanner. 🤔

Can one of the gurus on here please help me confirm? Attaching other photos where it shows new pistils coming out brown, etc.

Growing for first time with an anxiety disorder ain't easy! 😊

They look like swollen calyx's to me. I get them all over my plants too. Haven't had a seed yet🤞 as for the dark pistils, it might just be from that flower rubbing against another part of the plant or strong breeze. Doesn't look like you have anything to worry about to me. Maybe someone else will see something that I don't.....

Thank you for confirming! 👌🎉😁

And is it fair to say the reason new pistils are coming out brown instead of white could be for some other reason? (E.g. genetics)

About 25 days since I flipped to 12/12.

howdy ocgreen, I did not see any nanners in the posted photos. Even if they show up later, they could give You your own 'feminized' seeds!
Good luck with Your grow.
