Im dealing with some thrips on some of my plants..in re-used coco. Surface application isnt really an option because the top surface never really dries out. So i grabbed a craft paint brush and painted the stem / branches and the little hairs on the plant hold it in place. If the brush is fine enough you can coat the grow tips! no more dust clouds

Great tip thanks homegrown so far i'm ok with no pests indoors this winter. I usually get a few random knats ( up yours auto correct ) did not like my spelling.

that's because it starts with a g SoOrbudgal I was fighting with my stupid autocorrect earlier I forgot knuckle started with a k and couldn't figure it out lol

Good idea with the DE I grow in living soil and you can't let it dry either thanks

DE can also be mixed with warm water and sprayed on the leaves with a spray bottle or garden sprayer. just leave it on for a day then rinse it off with a bottle of clean water. put a thin layer of the DE on the topsoil too.
