Dialing in a "PERPETAUL AUTO GROW" to a photoperiod grow that is dialed out. (2 tent)

The initial set up:

1) 3 different "Autoflower" strains selected because they grow out between 30"-40"
2) Ogre, Jack Herer, Mazar
3) ROO and coco/perlite 70/30 at various points if the grow
3) LED grow (Marshydro's & UFO's)
4) start date 9/1/17 end date: estimate 12/1/17
5) yield: TBD- goal 4oz

3 auto seeds were planted, as outlined here: http://forum.growweedeasy.com/forum...ting-to-transplant-an-auto-flower-intentional

Goal to finish a photoperiod grow and end up with an all auto perpetual grow, that provides 3x3 gal autos, monthly, @ about 4oz and a cost per gram around $1.

tent #1 (veg) is 20"x36"x63" with a Marshydro 300w and a 150w UFO (2 photos @ week 8 (manifold) & 1 AF @ week 5-not flowered, 24/0
tent #2 (flower) is 2'x4'x6' with a Marshydro reflector 96 and a Marshydro reflector 48 (4 photos @ week #4 flower), 12/12
tap water- brita filtered @ 36 ppm and pH @ 5.5
Nebula's chart- GH trio for AutoFlowers initially for nutrients.

Into the veg tent under the 150w UFO LED.

tent #1-light schedule changed from 20/4 to 24/0 until the new AF are @ 4th-5th node

This could be a boring thread- as not much to do until transplant around 3 weeks.

YAWN, wake me when something happens.

:)

I'm in the process of getting 2 tents synced up also, though with photos. But I gotta say the more I see your auto grows... I actually have a couple auto seeds, I try to pick a few as freebies with my orders so when I'm ready to tey them I won't lose much and have replacements if I mangle them, lol.

Good luck, even though you have it well in hand with out luck

Yeah this is gonna be good . I've heard some talk about the OGRE being something special. Can't wait. Happy Growing.

Boring can be good when it comes to growing. :). But, this is definitely interesting to watch the timing and the maintenance to keep it going and in sync. I'm in coco for the first time and it's going well but I loved ROO for soil. ROO amended and Coco must be a fantastic medium. Cool idea to combine the two mediums. Do you let the medium dry between watering like soil or more frequent, coco style?

Sheesh : It's going to be more like a ring of ROO then coco/perlite then ROO or continue the coco/perlite.<- I let the plants growth dictate what might work best.

I have combind ROO/coco/perlite in various portions and really like the ROO/coco-per @ 2:1.<-- treat like ROO with more frquent watering.
ROO already has coco in it, so not a huge change until you get to COCO-PER/roo 2:1 <-- more like coco with a buffer

I just pulled somthing like this off last fall through to summer. I will checkin your grow out. Working with a 2x4x5 wit a 400 hps

hey weed pharma hows it going looking good are you going to manifold those autos. the results are absolutely amazing , I have all my seeds and am ready to grow just need to finish room lol have a good one

oldjarhead100 , - perhaps as the plants are certainly tall enough-I haven't thought that far ahead.

How much does manifolding delay with auto's?- this setup is based on 3 seeds planted on the first day of each month then fill space in the "flower" tent about 4 weeks from germination.

I currently have 2 photo's manifolded- ready to be moved to flower tent- but it delayed them about a month. <intentional to get the rotation started.

I'll go back and check my last Jack Herer auto grow , which was LST and defoliated.

But when all is said and done- the plants will tell me!

I didn't think it delayed them at all ,I started when they had 5 nodes cut back to third and tie down they just kept on growing I stopped tieing down when they were about a month old

oldjarhead100, depends how the transplant goes- as I usually start the plant in final container when I manifold.
At any rate-I will be topping them once they respond- after transplant.

September 16 (is day 16 from seed & day 13 above ground)- and the transplanting begins- going from 1 gal coco/perlite to 3 gal Roots Organic Original-
OGRE-
IMG-2619.JPG
Organic feeding schedule with minerals.
the rest were transplanted over the next few days- a little early, but I wanted to make certain they didn't get root bound-at all and the were at nodes 4-5.

September 19- Jack Herer- one day after Kelp foliar spray:
Roots extreme serene .25ml60ml and light foliar feed, try and correct - top yellow leaves- not sure if its a virus/overwater manifesting as Fe deficiency- same issue last time with decent end results.

Mazar is the runt at this point.

I willl wait a bit longer before I transplant on my next 3 autos- to be dialed in

September 22- One day after second Kelp foliar feed-getting better and she is starting to grow-

<---Topped @ 5th node

Oct 1- getting ready for the next set for the dial into perpetual grow tent.

IMG-2702.JPG

Oct batch is 1 Lemon OG Haze and 2 White Widow-

And it starts all over again- planting seeds on the first of each month- and transfereing month old plants as room is available in the larger tent, which is finishing up 7 photo plants.

It's TIME- to begin the dial in:
Make room in the flower tent with 4 photo's left to finish:

The DIAL IN is half way there- these autos will be getting 12/12 (at a much higher wattage) for the next 4 weeks.

Re-arranged LED's as follows:

tent #1 (veg) Marshydro reflector 48 with a 150w UFO, @ 24/0 - until 4-5th node (390 LED watts)

tent #2 (flower) Marshydro reflector 96 and a Marshydro 300w with a 150w UFO, @12/12 -until all photos are done- then re adjust. (930 LED watts)
