Dense colas

Been growing for a little more than 2 yrs with some decent success but I can't seem to produce really tight buds. Grown White Widow, Northern Lights, Laughing Buddha, Critical. Good yields but can't find that elusive bud lol. Maybye someone knows of a good strain or is it something I'm missing.? Thanks for any help

Hi Emo, welcome to the forum! We'd have to know a little bit more about HOW you grow in order to diagnose the problem. You should be getting good bud with those strains.

If you're looking to reproduce the club bud look, get a vacuum sealer. About 3 days into the dry they put a light vacuum on it to compress it. Or you can jar it up a few days earlier while it's still pretty wet and the weight of the top buds will compress it. I personally would rather have a natural nug than club bud. I don't suggest doing either of those processes though. Keep it natural.

Just guessing I’m going to say it could be a heat problem but without specifics it’s hard to tell. Describe your setup.

Dense buds encourage mold. If you are happy with the way it smokes. Don't worry be happy.
