Hello everyone. I'm trying (in vain, so far) to delete a post I made some time ago. It, the post, was made when I foolishly thought I could start my own grow. Turns out I'm just to stupid to grow anything more than an Aloe plant and Bamboo. I have not given up on the idea of growing altogether, just yet, but I'd like to remove the only post I made....It just reminds me of just how stupid I am....so stupid I can't even figure out how to delte the post......any help would be appreciated.....

If you can find the original post, there should be an Edit button lower-right. From within Edit there's a Delete button.

Lol. Now you'll have everyone searching for your dumb post :tongue-out: No one here cares. We all have the stupids one time or another. Everyone has to start somewhere. Maybe you just started in the middle and need to go back to the beginning. Its never foolish to try anything if you really want to do it. Sometimes you gotta take a couple runs at it. It's not in some folks' wheelhouse. I commend you for realizing it's not in yours - yet. Start small, with something that won't destroy your bank account or ego if it dies. Depending where you are, this year was nearly impossible for experienced growers, so breathe easy.
Aloe and bamboo are very nice.
Good luck and happy learning.

What are you saying about aloe and bamboo AccidentalGardener ? I have both. They were both gifts from a neighbor who moved. I'm using aloe gel for some 'speriments. Bamboo is a nice vertical element. Wanna make something of it?

I’m not sure that I can grow aloe or bamboo or weed for that matter. I’ve never really grown anything and am 5 weeks into my first, screwed up a little bit to start but seem to be rolling now (we’ll see in a couple more months). Like JDU asked, you gonna try hydro? One brown thumb to another, don’t. My recommendation would be K.I.S.S., find a fast flowering photo, get some fabric pots, and a decent soil. I think soil is more forgiving on mistakes.

Yes, JDU hydro was my plan.....took me ages to find those tubs and those lids fit on top of the containers. they have 4 holes in each lid and i was thinking the shallowness..if that is even a word..would help keep the plants smaller and would mean I could use a smaller grow tent....smaller meaning cheaper..$$ is a major issue with me and whatever set up I decide on....net cups and some sort of medium in each hole...or maybe a pump in one of the holes to circulate the nutrients around....I have not a single clue but I refuse to give up....There just has to be a way....I'll re-read the basics page, again, and come up with something....as always I appreciate any and all help this new grower can get....!! Xena I appreciate the aversion to hydro and I'm open to anything....no idea what K.I.S.S. is, though....I am, however, old enough to remember a band by that name...ah my wasted youth....

KISS....is Keep it Simple Stupid, I have nothing against hydro if you want to grow really great big plants hydro or coco are probably the best way to go but they also probably need more skill and knowledge than growing in dirt. I know what you mean about cost, I was also starting on a budget. Several companies offer kits, depending on what you want to spend, mars hydro has a few kits that are pretty reasonable, add in soil, nutes, and seeds you can get a fairly decent setup for around $500.

Search “space bucket” on GWE .....seems pretty simple, some 5 gal buckets, a couple small pc fans and about a half dozen light sockets with CFLs.

Clicked on the a Link lmao 😆Man that is so fing Cool...Crazy man 👨 love SPACE BUCKETS , BRUTE BUCKETS AND TOTES have their own Category
