Defoliation?

regarding should I defoliation the lower center part of my plant to help the upper bud sites get bigger
I have been bending down every fan leaf. I can this last week I'm running a 400 watt light. lots of low stress training through the grow, in the last 3 days the colas started to fatten. Just wanting to know would less be more because I have a lot of energy going into new, young budsites for this stage in flowering. Thank you very much for your time.

I take all the bottom stuff off from the bottom. leaving the tops to receive all the plants energy for the buds. personally I would take some of those fan leaves to get more light into the canopy,not all just a few

Look at your last pic -- from directly above the plant, look at all your bud sites, if any are blocked (and I see a few in your pic) by the leaves -- I cut them, and continue you to cut to keep them open.

I agree with the others that it's a little leafy. If you're trying to save leaves you can always tuck some of them to help expose the bud sites. Your plant looks great!

Thanks everyone for chiming in to help make the decision to cut one more time. I have been pruning and tucking through the grow and now that it's getting serious really needed an outside opinion. good people here.
