Day 36 - 4x Jack Herer Fem - how are things looking?

Hey!

I started my first grow ever with 4x fem jack herer seeds. It is day 36 (5 weeks since they sprouted), and I thought I should check in with the community for some feedback and course-correction if needed.
  • Growing in Stepwell super soil in 7g pots. Have been using the EM1 and Veg Top Dressing so far. They seem to really like this.
  • Currently on a 18/6 light cycle. All LED lighting, about 24" from the plants
  • Room stays between 18-22C. Humidity 40-60%.
  • Have a fan going over the plants and an extractor booster fan too
  • Today I completed the 4th round of low stress training (just twist ties flattening out the canopy)
Questions for you:
  • When would you flip them to flower? After a couple more weeks?
  • Any advice on the LST? Anything else I can do now to maximize yield?

I think you could remove some big leaves to allow more growth sites to receive light and grow upwards. This will also help with airflow. One leaf on top of another can form dew in between and mold takes the opportunity. Don’t freak out or worry. Just as a precaution some defoliation will help your plant. Looks a bit crowded

I agree with the above recommendations. Be aware those are going to get big and it's a long stretch till the finish. Consider your tent and light height and you may want to flip real soon. I have grown that strain and it can get bigger than most.
