Day 28 of 12/12

Hey guys thought I’d share some pics and get some thoughts on my ladies. Hit day 28 of 12/12 today. This is my first grow.

i felt like I had some nute burn going on so Wednesday I did a flush with sledgehammer from fox farms. I added bigbloom at 1/2 strength along with the sledgehammer and Ph the solution to 6.4. I think I should have gave them a bit of nutrient water after as I feel like they developed some degiciencies. Tonight they got their normal 1/2 dose of Nutrients. FF feeding schedule week 8 (except the flowers kiss). 2 gorilla glue #4, 1 white widow, 1 green crack. All clones gotten from a friend. I know at some point in flower yellowing of leaves etc is normal but was thinking this is a bit early. Thanks 😀

Locrian Overall they look pretty good. I don't think nute burn starts in the middle of a leaf like some of your leaves show, but I'm not sure what would cause that. How could they go from nute burn to deficiencies so fast? I think it's good that you did a flush: nute lockout can look just like deficiencies if there's too much stuff accumulated in the soil.

Your buds look like they're developing very nicely. If that stops, or if the leaf problems get worse, post again with pics. Good luck!!

Lociran you are going to get a bunch of different answers on this . What kind of light do you have those look more light burned than nute burned

You diagnosed it correctly from the burnt tips on your leaves but the burning in the middle comes from something else , I have some autos that I had the 300w light at 17 3/4 from plant and it burned the shit out of the plant I raised it up to 19 inches no problem, Leds are funny like that you have to dial them in ,now in bloom I have and 1000 hps with leds and if I dont check how far the light is from the plant it will burn the crap out of the leaves as well

You may get 6 or 7 different replays and they could all be right so dont panic just step back ,breath, and try something else .You will need to remove the damaged leaves so you can tell if its still happening

I have a 600w hps for the Light, I did go through and remove some of the damaged leaves. Checked on them tonight it doesn’t look like it’s getting worse I do feel that one of the GG#4 was looking more yellow but I didn’t take it out of The tent to really check it out. Got home from work at nearly 4am didn’t have the energy. On the pH comment I thought it was interesting typically when I water I pH from 6.3-6.5 and my runoff is 6.6-6.7. Post flush I gave 6.3 with runoff at 6.3, guessing that just from flushing all the salts etc out its coming out what I put in. Next watering I’ll hit with a bit higher pH 6.5 I’m thinking. Thanks for the input guys, should’ve heard my wife last night when she opened the tent she thought they were dying !

My thought process on the deficiencies was that I didn’t replace nutes after the flush and the problems exploded after the flush. Just was thinking what could’ve happened.

I grew an autoflower, 91 days, in KindSoil an never checked the runoff but 1 time a week before harvest, the whole grow i gave her 6.2-6.5 water, and when i checked the runoff it was 6.3 after 91 days, that tells you got lots of good buffering goin on in that soil.

Actually, re-reading your post above, if you were adding nutes then you weren't flusing. If it's lockout, you were adding to the problem by adding bigbloom? A flush is not a flush if you add nutes...

With the pH now coming out the same as what I put in, as opposed to always coming out 6.6-6.7 before it seems like the sledgehammer flushed it out. Again I’m a total novice so my thinking could be way off. The big bloom is not mineral salt based and now I can’t seem to find it but I swear I read imfrom fox farms it was fine/recommended to add while using the sledgehammer. Maybe I was hitting the bong a bit too hard... I raised the light a few inches as ojh suggested and am going to keep a close eye on them the next few days see what they do. Thanks for the input, clearly I’ve got lots to learn 😀

Yea I’ve read amazing things about that stuff. I’ve invested in the full line of fox farms nutes so I’m for sure going to have to do at least one more grow using that stuff

Well I’m going to give the girls a good haircut this evening. Going to mainly just remove the rest of the damaged leaves. They could probably use a better hair dresser but they get what they get. 😀

First in the chair we’ve got the white widow. I think she’s doing ok comparably don’t see any new probs. Where you can see the HPS Light is pre haircut.

Next up was the green crack from what I’ve read she should have a bit of a shorter flowering stage. I seem some darkening pistils but obviously a long ways to go again I think it’s looking better.

Gg#4 1. Kinda funny all through veg I felt like she was the better of the two, this one was the one that had the mites though and is now the lighter one. I added a couple bamboo shoot for support but again I think looking better.

And lastly gg4 2. I really don’t think I saw any newly affected leaves. Feeling much better about them. Any input appreciated.

Morning 99, looking nice to me, I can't remember which GG ,but one pheno is pretty hard to grow, I think it's #4, but ain't positive. Good Luck with yours.99.

Well this pretty much made me want to scream this morning. Checked on the girls and found this. I’m just going to watch the PH and maybe back off the nutes a little more, maybe cut out the supplements (currently getting beastie bloomz I feel like the problems really started showing up when I started open sesame and have just progressed). I do feel like the buds are progressing well, so I think I’m going to try to ride it out until harvest at this point,

Other thing I was thinking of trying is just a regular flush not using the sledgehammer just flushing with 3x the pot size with ph’d water and giving them some light nute water after.
