Darkness before harvest

I haven't grown blueberry but here good things , I think White widow is a great strain , I also like the idea of all growing Nebula CBD even if its not her strain it would be a complement to her and this way we are all growing a strain we haven't grown before . that will certainly even the fields

Sorry I posted this above and it should be here .I haven't grown blueberry but here good things , I think White widow is a great strain , I also like the idea of all growing Nebula CBD even if its not her strain it would be a complement to her and this way we are all growing a strain we haven't grown before . that will certainly even the field

Nebula means “star cloud”. Bred by Paradise Seeds in 1996, this variety received the name for its stellar qualities. Nebula has an open structure that is excellent for indoor farming where the plants perform with optimal results in a sea of green set-up. This variety has also been successfully grown outdoors in Holland and would be an appropriate choice for outdoor gardens in temperate zones that offer a 9 week minimum flowering time before the first frost. Nebula stretches slightly, but produces obese buds when placed under lots of light. Like the name suggests, Nebula twinkles with the coating of THC glands. The buzz is transcendental and cerebral, sometimes bordering on the psychedelic. Nebula may earn the nickname “honey pot” for its sweet smell and distinctively honeyed fruit flavor.

So it's available from Seedsman and you may get the same Blueberry and/or White Widow that I have as Freebies. 5 for $68

Nebula I:I CBD adds high CBD to the award-winning sativa strain Nebula. The aim was to create a medicinal strain that is used for its healing benefits rather than psycho-active ones. In this the combined talents of Paradise Seeds and CBD Crew have been successful. The ratio of THC:CBD is almost 1:1 with 6% THC and 7% CBD.

This is also available, but not as interesting to me

More thc, that's going to do nothing for me. Anyone grow girl scout cookies before? I'd love to try and grow key lime pie or a variation of zkittlez. I guess I'm pickier than I thought

rosetastoned, you my friend are looking for some connoisseur grade genetics like Ocean Grown Seeds, they do breed with key lime pie. also i wanna make a suggestion to you all. you dont need to compare same strain same environment to see what the "darkness before harvest" does, you guys only need to photograph the trichomes right before turning the lights off and then photograph again after and try to find a difference between them. nothing like photographic evidence of the trichome growth to support the claims

The whole Nebula strain was more of a "wow didn't know this was out there" more than a recommendation, There are better options.
I would like to see us acquire unique and potent genetics that are truly worthwhile. Blueberry and/or White Widow are definitely affordable and quality.

Rosetta, I like the direction you are pointing for strains. Girl Scout Cookies is fine (personally against the name but it's OG Kush x Durban Poison) It sounds like: if it's good enough for you it will be good enough for us.

Well, I actually wouldn't mind growing the "Award winning Sativa" with an 8-9 week Flowering period (The original "Nebula" by Paradise seeds, see the description I posted above the CBD one).
I'd be fine with GSC, or perhaps one of Dr Krippling's varieties. I am trying to grow a Kripple Shock now, but it doesn't want to become a plant... Have only heard positive reviews and would like to try another.

RosettaStoned
Well, if we are going with Blueberry as one then it would make Blue fire somewhat redundant. I'd vote for Sweet Zombie out of those. (I think Star killer appears only as regular seeds - not feminized). Thoughts on Dr Krippling?

Yeah, some of those i said earlier are pretty pricey too. I don't wanna break the bank on anyone. I'm looking at some from krippling now and loving the names, very creative! I'll scope out the list and get back on here with my choices from the Dr. Finishing up trimming today ... priorities 😉

Check out "Puff Puff Pass Out" Sounds like it might be right up our alley...
Selectively bred for the hardened off users out there. Have Puff Puff Pass Out & re-experience the times when you used to wake up with sticky, heavy redeyes, and your body feeling like a tonne of stone.

Kali's White shadow looks divine, but I don't know that it would make sense to grow it along with White Widow. I'd be willing to do it instead, but that raises the cost.
I would be very happy with the three: WW, BB, and PPPO, but am still very open to other ideas and suggestions. Do we want a Sativa dominant in the group?
I assume that once we work out these details we will invite others to participate? start a thread?
Mid August germination date is best for me... Do we want to plan to flip on the same day too? How long for Veg? 8 weeks -ish?

It seems to be primarily the three of us. I say we each choose a strain. I choose PPPO as mine. I think I'll be happy to grow the kind of strains you'll choose and don't mind buying the seeds... I'll have to buy PPPO anyway. If we stick to Seedsman it might make it easier - or at least choose three that can all be obtained in one order from one place.

Okay well I started a PM to talk out details and other items. If someone else stumbles upon this and wants to partake just shoot me or any one of us a message. It's FEB 17th we have a few months to get our seeds in hand by the fall (AUG 1st)

#GWE Grow Challenge 2018

Cheers. All done here folks...
