Dark Red leaf edges

Hello!

2nd Grow. Coco Coir, Fox Farms Trio, 2 Viparspectra 700 LED lights (never closer than 20 inches), 8 weeks veg 3.5weeks flower. Seedsman Strawberry Cake Fem. Photoperiod.

So, the picture shows my girls. These 2 plants are the same genetics, germinated at the same time, same air-pot in coco, and I water them all from the same mix of ph'd water/nutes at the same time. I even put only one cup in each pot and rotate around (in case the nutes "settle" or there are any variations in my mixture). All of the buds appear to be growing fine (still at *least* 4-6 weeks to go, I think), but the plant on the right has the reddish edges (not to mention a more yellow hue to the leaves, themselves).

I always pH my water to between 5.5-6.2. I also add 4-5mL of CalMag per 1.5gallon each watering and stir thoroughly. My water is reverse osmosis with < 5ppm before I add anything to it. (its RO water from an under-sink filter. Our tap water is about 70ppm)

These 2 girls happen to be getting the majority of their light from the same ViparSpectra 700 LED (so, same light height for both).

Is this coloration something I should worry about or just let it be?

Thanks in advance!

Nice plant bro. Coloration in your leaves is nothing to worry about, a little red or blue or purple is kinda cool, probably just a genetic trait of one of the strains ancestors. The seeds for these four plants came out of the same bag. And yup, the smoke'll knock your socks off.

Thanks!

Ah. Very good. I was just a little concerned as all 4 of my girls are the same strain and this one just looks different than the others. I will also note that this reddish one has been the most vigorous grower (there's always one that just outpaces the others, it seems). On that note, here are some pics of the *least* vigorous grower. It looks as if it has dandruff or something -- it just has some super trichome development (for 3.5 weeks of flowering, to boot!)

Hey Tnt, yeah man, I don't see no problems, those are some nice looking plants. I heard those 700s were nice lights.

Yes, I like these lights a lot. I especially like the 3 dials for red/white/blue (patriotic grow lights? :p). You can really dial it in to whatever you want. As far as "real watts" or how they compare to HPS, I couldn't say. This is only my second grow and these are the lights I've used since I started.

Ah, cool. Yeah, I was just a *little* concerned, but seeing that, I'll just call it genetic variance -- unless I observe any other kinds of stress in her. I'm not seeing any clawing or canoeing and only some of the the lower leaves yellowing and falling off (just a normal amount, though...one here, one there).

On this grow, I've tried to do nebula's manifolding. I didn't quite follow the procedure as mine were not growing quite like her tutorial. So, I just kinda winged it. I've got a lot of top colas, though, of about the same height. So, goal achieved, I think! :)
