Can one tell the difference between autoflower and not?

What difference are you looking for? I've grown both photo and auto. Autos are fun the play with because of the quick turnaround, but photos have a much better smoke and are more resilient.

The thing I notice the most is the quality, photos win in my book.

You can tell if its auto IF it flowers under 18/6 at 3-8 weeks.

Alot of new growers use bag seed because they don't want to buy from reputable seed companies. So they go about trying to make sense from what the seed produces when it grows without the knowledge of what MJ needs to flourish. This is what you get, unstable plants in unstable hands early blooms it's trying to survive so it starts to begin reproduction. My 2cents
