When you cut down, how long is your curing period? Also what humidity levels do you start at? I’m kinda curious if it’s started at a high humidity for too long at what point is there a mildew issue
Well when i cut my branches they hang to dry anywhere from 4days to 7days generally. I'm not worried about the humidity we are pretty dry in our house and a fan will move the air around during the hanging if needed. Now jarring is different if that's what you meant?
Very hard to try to explain all the differences and how every bud structure and density are different and the bacterias role in the whole process. You can read up on all of that, but to answer your question curing can happen in a couple of weeks or during a couple on months. It's all about bacteria. Oxygen and how often you burp. You want to keep the drying room at 60% and the air inside the jar in a similar value. That doesn't mean the buds "have" that moisture. If the bud are too moist you'll have to either supply oxygen four times a day or let it dry for another day or two before jarring.
