Curing for Concentrates?

For those of you who make concentrates. Do you bother to cure your buds? I am currently experimenting by over drying buds for making RSO and dry ice hash.
The drier buds crumble very easily, exposing the trichomes, making processing easier. Don't cure it unless bud is for smoking. Your thoughts? Thanks.

I do think fully dried and cured bud is better at least in my experience and research. Just like any other use the curing process is widely accepted to improve quality and potency so why not utilize that. Obviously fresh frozen or similar is an exception, it should be processed immediately after harvest . I even cure my trim for a couple months now before processing for the same reasons.
In the case of IWH or dry sift used to produce temple balls aging the finish product is also important , if you can resist temptation that is.

However wonderfully cured your beginning bud is, hash and rosin will keep curing and become more wonderfully cured.
My experience with resin is it doesn't seem to change if I get something packaged last month or happen upon the deeply discounted grams that are going to go over in a month.
Don't know from RSO.
Over drying is not necessary for DI. In fact, you can use DI with fresh bud.
Over drying would be better for dry sift.

All mine goes to dry flower vape and extracts, no smoking at all. The stuff I give away gets smoked. I dry it to about 55% humidity, then burp and cure for storage because that is what one is supposed to do for long term storage. I find the terps in the vape quite pleasant doing it this way. Extracts the terps just get blown out to the atmosphere. No, you don't need to cure for extracts but you should dry them.
