Curing at 75% & stinky buds

buds have been in jars for like 3 days now and are pretty dry but jars are at 70-75% humidity and buds reek of a mixture of vomit and we hay. Any help appreciated but I don’t plan on smoking any of it while it smells like that...

That happened to me once. The smell matured over time to a piss smell. Didn’t smoke it either. It’s not like a very skunky weed smell either. The body knows there’s something wrong with it

That doesn't sound right, and I wonder if the to much humidity has a lot to do with it.
I threw away my best plant ever, this spring, it started getting this alcohol smell, followed my an increasingly "wrong" smell, then started growing this white mold. It caused one of those super cry emoji's, and I couldn't talk about it for a couple of day's.
Dump those jars out to dry real good, keep a super close eye on that bud for mold, and if your best judgement is telling you to toss it, because it is bad, listen to it, not worth making your self sick, no matter how bad it sucks to through out buds you just worked real hard to grow.

I've found that the 'hay' smell is reduced by trimming all of the fan and sugar leaves off of the flower. I dry mine until just a bit crispy on the outer bud but still a bit of moisture in the interior. Kind of a dance the first week of curing-need enough moisture to keep the process going but not enough to get mold to colonize. Keep a close watch-any signs of threads forming you need to spread it out on a tray to prevent any more damage.

70-75% RH is way too high for jarred bud. Bud shouldn't be jarred until you're down to 70%.

Throw the vomity ones away!!

take all questionable weed and make some RSO instead of smoking, the 190% everclear will kill any bad shit, and u can still use it to catch a buzz. My 2 cents.
