Ok so I was looking on eBay at some cobs.. was thinking of replacing the hps lights.. esp for summer since it's in a shed an heat/cold is always a problem.. but most of the cobs looked like cheap junk then I came across these that are Cree chips an they say there 400watts... says it's 2 200 watt chips.. I know it's prolly closer to 200 watts draw but there 150 bucks a pop.. I'm thinking about 5 or 6 of these may not be a bad investment? Also if anyone has found any that are pretty decent an not real expensive post it up.. I would love to get a bud master they are freakin pretty sweet I think.. Anyway here's the eBay link to the light. Lol what you guys think.. an how many to replace each 600 watt hps

The cxa has been surpassed by newer technology that is more efficient. Biggest advantage is getting more lumens/watt and less heat for a given lumen output so do some research.

Check out Timbergrowlights.com. They have some nice COB kits. A little pricy but good information on COB grow lights.

Efficacy improvement is the biggest improvement with newer technology. Just scan manufacturers spec sheets and you"'ll see the difference. Lumens/wart
