Cost to send a registered birthday card to Amsterdam

Anyone have experience sending a envelope to Nirvana? Cost, length of time, best way to send it, USPS, UPS,Fedex??

I sent cash once to pay for seeds. Sent it USPS. Took about two weeks to get there from Northeast US.

Thank you Dutchman, USPS is the easiest for me, think Ill do that in the morning. I'm also in the NE.

I just mailed off an order to Seedsman, they are in Spain. The standard overseas USPS rate is $1.15, if it's not over an ounce. Bills wrapped in aluminum foil in a regular card are usually less than an ounce. I put almost $3.00 on the last card I sent to Amsterdam, I think it was too much. It takes 2-3 weeks to get there and shipping took 2 weeks back to me.

I just send cash, with order form, in a birthday card through USPS. Short of customs actually opening my mail, who doesn't like to get cash for their birthday??!!

I just put the order # in the card, no order form, no names. The other day, I sent them a Valentine's Day card! Last time it was a Christmas card!!! Some companies say wrap the cash in carbon paper others say foil. I use foil.

Thank you for your reply's everyone. I did foil in the card with order# written on card. Now off to the post office.
