Cool Stuff Makes it Easier

I love to find things that make life, and the grow, easier. Found these GearTies at HomeDepot for $4.95 a pair. Three different sizes and colors available. They have solved so many mounting and support issues in my grow tent. I'd give them 5 Stars.

What's your best new find or "hack" to make the grow easier?

Gutter/christmas light hangers.

I use them to clip wires out of the way. Attached to my pot with the clip side so I can attach lst lines to the hook. I bought a 50 pack and have found 30+ uses for them. Already have used the entire 50. lol.

Those clips are cool. Where did you pick them up at? Ill need to try and find some. They would be great for LST.
 
Im in the process of making a custom set up from them just for lst. I will share when I am done.

I use them all over the grow room.
 
.99¢ only store. OMG if you have one and are creative and cheap like me you'll be in heaven.

Car sun shades. I buy them by the dozen. Great for insulation on hydro tubs. I lay them on the floor for all around lighting.

1 quart mason jars. Yup you guessed it .99¢ ea.

Soft ties. You know the expensive kind.

250' of twist ties.

Oil drain pans for potted plants.

I found 3 3' bamboo pots with trays as a set.

​​​​​​You would be surprised how many of the cool ancillary things that make growing easier but are.too pricey to keep on hand that you can find there.
 
I love dollar tree and they always have different things because they get closeout stuff sometimes. Sometimes I just randomly pop in to look around. A lot of it is junk but if you go down every aisle and just look you can most certainly find gems!
 
From dollar tree

Big bottle of liquid hand soap for the sink in bathroom.
18 pack trash bags of decent quality (trash bags are freaking expensive)
Giant bottles of sea salt
Random kitchen utensils (my potato peeler is still going strong years later)
Dial roll on deodorant/anti perspirant. So happy I tried this. Totally effective, dries fast, and a bottle lasts longer than expensive stuff and is a third of the price. I don't believe the tiny bottles of the other stuff is a bargain because of their size but the dial roll on gets 2 thumbs up for quality and qty.

They have 2 packs of bar soap: dial, zest, and other various recognizable brands. I use dove soap and refuse to switch. I was just there today and lo and behold they had bars of dove! But they are the smaller bars and only a 1 pack. I didn't get any but I may go back and get some. I wanted to compare it to the size of the bigger bars first and couldn't recall the size off hand. Honestly I'm so stocked up because this closeout store called Ollie's had 8 packs of the bigger bars for $5 and I went crazy lol.

One time we got name brand yarn for a buck that is close to $6 elsewhere, this was a closeout item.

Dollar tree is the truth and they should pay me for as much I talk them up all the time.

(Sorry I getc all excited when dollar tree is involved. It's the best dollar store and they have a website)
 
I also am a huge fan of the dollar tree it's spring there for some reason so I got a shit ton of pruning shears and other shit I love the place.
