Hi all, was taking photos on ph using a microscope/magnify app to see what detail u get and just thought I would share😠it would be a bonus if someone could tell me if they are female. Thanks
My eyes aren't too great, especially after this long day but I can't see any sure signs of sex in those pics. I'm going to say it's too soon for me and my eyes to call it.
In the second picture the things(stipules i think but not sure) that are crossed watch those if a hair comes out there female ,usually they are a sign of females .male stipules tend to be shorter and no hairs ,
Howdy Lulu28, it looks too early, to me, to tell their gender. Give them a little more time. How long have they been if flower? My current grow (switched to 12/12 about 11 days ago)are just now beginning to show a few stamen (pistils)).
I agree, too early to tell sex, but they are growing nicely. https://www.growweedeasy.com/preflowers This will help you tell quicker when you switch to 12/12.
Based on the pic with the LED/purple color, I am assuming they are into week 2-5 of veg. I have been able to tell so far by week 3-4 even if it's a couple hairs buried on just one node.
This was vegging. Probably 3 week old. It had only 3-4 nodes I think by the time I took this pic. It was still a seedling which eventually died off. I don't think it has to do with nutes or sunlight because your plant is growing otherwise. It may be has to do something with the genetics and the seed quality in general.
I wrote a response to u and when I hit what I thought was post it said flagged. I can't find it to undo it. If an admin is reading they might fix it? Or when they see my comment they will realise I'm just a dickhead who pressed the wrong thing. So so sorry
