Controlling Environment

I'm about to complete my first grow in the next few days and struggled almost the entire way keeping the environment steady. 4x4x6 tent, I've got a good exhaust that really sucks my tent in and keeps humidity low but temps never below 77-79 with lights on (400w t5). I know it's not too high but I'd like the ability to keep it a little cooler for different strains, flower etc. I've tried cooling the room down with a portable a.c. but that seems to bring up the humidity. I also tried extra fans in the tent and even a 4in line as an intake. I've also noticed that sometimes when lower the exhaust my humidity lowers as well. I figure exhaust works both ways, getting rid of hot and cold air but it's been tricky maintaining a balance.

Congrats on rounding out first grow!! I think heat is one of the most challenging elements in growing—at least where I live and my chosen method which is grow box DWC.

If you keep itdown to 80 during lights on in the summer, you are doing great!

Once you smoke/vape your home grown, you will never be able to go back to street weed. Home grown is one the sweetest things in life!!

I was a little worried about the bud size but...they've gotten super dense. I'm hoping to get at least a few oz to share with the homies .

Try opening up the tent more on the bottom. Bottom zippers and or intake holes. Don’t open the top it will make the tent hotter. You can’t suck out anymore air than what’s going in. I have the same problem and this helps a lot
