Cold Weather

Hey all.

It's cold in northern Illinois. My tent is in the basement of an old house.

Placing a piece of 1 inch foam insulation board on top of my tent, makes a big difference.

It's a cheap easy fix. If you are having problems with the cold.

Was about to say the same thing. Buddy used 2" rigid board under his tent then taped bubble wrap to the outside of the tent. Looked goofy but he said it worked.

+1 I did that to my main tent this past grow. It definitely helped hold temps more consistent and held additional heat. Best part is you can remove for the hotter months.

I am in major snow belt as well in north Southern Ontario and the smurf tent is in the crawl space "thankfully it is poured" - 1 or 2" foam board under tent floor and I use a small space heater wired to inkbird controller with a temp probe.. To be honest the controller was bought for a moon shine project that never got going and I commandeered it. Turns out it works great to control humidity and add some heat.

$30.00 CDA amazon - Just mounted in on a board with a gfi plug and some sjo 14 / 3 for the main.

Just another option...
