Coco rehydration tutorial

In the GWE tutorial for rehydrating coco bricks, it was suggested to add Cal-Mag to the water to 'prep' the coco. along the same lines, can something like Orca (mycorrhiza) be added as well? Since the coco is moist, would it support the fungi when used fairly soon (immediately) OR mixed 50/50 with soil (FFOF)?

Yes, absolutely. If I'm not mistaken, the fungi only benefit the plant when in contact with roots. I'm not sure how long they will live in the media, so reinnoculation may be necessary at scheduled intervals. I know recharge has molasses in it to feed the microbes, I'm not sure about orca.

I use blackstrap unsulphured mo. For that reason it helps the roots.i use it all thru my grows but in small increments 1/2 tea for a gallon every other feeding with ph water and a little magox

Thanx. I thought so....but maybe supplemented with some molasses like Potted suggested too.
