COCO COIR Coco ph problems

Hello all good day

So im using canna coco mixed with perlite im using gh series my lights are hps1000w and 600w viparspectra ,, im in six week of flower and been having ph problems,, i water with 6.2 and comes out 4.2 the plant look bad the leafs the buds kinda slowly getting bigger compared to the other,, i flushed it and tested the ph it was 5.0 and fed at seedling stage then plain water the next day and the ph is getting low again 4.7

They told me the best way to raise it is to use calcium carbonate but i dont know how i just bought some today, i cant order stuff coz its illegal any growing related items so any help please


Ps: the one im talking about is the left one,, the right one is fine now but also runoff ph is 5.5 but the buds are getting a little bigger

How big are your pots? How much water did you use to flush? When you flush at that low of ph you give them your 6.2 water untill it comes out 6.2.
Your buds look close but I can't tell from far away.

baking soda will raise your PH you will just have to test it as you mix it.
 
5 gallon pots (smart pots) i watered till the run off water number of the ppm meter is the same that went in,,, and how to use the baking soda?
 
I use bicarbonate of soda to raise my ph and white distilled vinegar to lower it, but my nutes tend to bring my ph down to around 5.5, since I am growing in soil I must always raise my ph to 6.5.
 
I would test your water then add a little baking soda (tsp or so) to a gallon and test it to see what it reads repeat if need , replace mix if need . I wouldnt go above 7.ph with the water, best to stay at 6.2 to 6.5.
You test the run off for ppm's? If so you need to test for PH. To be the same.
Flushing your plant should be done with plain Ph'ed water, no nutes.
 
Im sorry brother but i didn't get that NAKEDGARDENER i use ph down liquids and always adjust the ph before i water and always give a plain ph water after every feeding its been fine since week 3 of flower,,

Use a pinch of wat? And as i said i got the liquids of ph up nd down they're fine,, i just want to raise the ph of yhe medium so the plant can use the nutes im giving it to em
 
I and Mr.Furley we’re talking of the same thing. But you’re using the ph adjusters you’re fine, didn’t know it was the medium you were talking of so, sorry.
 
Mr.furley Lol im sorry maybe i wasn't clear who flushes with nutrients brother?! Of course with only ph plain water at level 6.5 repeat repeat till the ppm of the run off water is the same number that went it..

So what I'm reading here is that you flushed and brought the PH up of the runoff water to 5.0?
Do not worry about your ppm's of the runoff, only look at the PH in and out. In a 5gl smart pot to raise the PH from 4.7/5.0 of the runoff you will be around 3 gallons of water going in at 6.2ph in one go.
You can give the plant a higher ph'ed water and it can act a little faster but I don't recommend it unless it is a emergency, if you do give higher then normal ph'ed water only raise it to 7.0ph at most and push a half gallon of 6.2 water after your runoff hits 6.2.
I would still like to know how close your plants are to being done? A close up picture of a bud in natural light?
 
You are also saying you ph down you water? What does you water read before you do anything.
You shouldn't ph up and down the same water. Just checking.
 
Mr.furley yes i flushed with plain phd water till i brought it up to 5.0 but after that it went low again to 4.7,, and I've used about 9 gallons to 10 can't remember,, and i dont think just flushing will raise the ph of the medium coz I've done that and wasn't that good and i didn't put more than 6.5 but maybe I'll try the 7.0,, I'll try to take a better pictures now and upload em,, i think they still need about 3-4 weeks its aurora indica from Nirvana
 
You are right but how long has the PH problems been slow the grow down. Can you tell me how often you water?
 
Campesino Ok so here are my answers
*I use general hydroponics flora trio (micro, grow, bloom)
*The ppm i put in the last thing i remember it was 640-850
*What is the fertigation frequency?,,i didn't understand that?
*Yes i feed today and give plain phd water tomorrow and so on
*The run off ppm before the flush was 1020-1150 after i flushed em both 320(same my tap water) and now 560
*im using the regular ph meter the yellow one its from amazon cost about 15$ i calibrated it more than once just to be sure (with the solution) and it was right before and after
*about the ph up and down liquids they're from where i live (local brand) and i dont think the problem from them im still using them in my vegg plants and no problems at all

What i think is the problem that i used a different nutrient replacing the CalMag (coz it finished) but it has more N and iron zinc and other stuff to be honest i didn't see all of that at the time being so i flushed removed em all

The second thing is i used to let the medium dry like completely and realized it was wrong also the reason i flushed

I need a way to raise the ph of the coco using something simple like calcium carbonate or similar coz i cant order stuff from outside and don't expect to find it here at all

The plant on the right is doing fine now although the run off ph is 5.5-5.6 but acutely the budds are getting bigger after the flush unlike the one on the left.
