Coco Coir & Perlite

Please clarify? Do you mean you want to plant straight into the final pot? I've heard that can stunt the growth. Start smaller and work your way up. I usually start in a 1 gallon pot and then go to the final after they develop a little bit.

In my experience.. dphipps is somewhat right.. your plant will seemingly stall on its growth.. the roots will take a little longer to figure out how big it’s space is.. however the healthier the roots are the better.. and I find that transplanting increases risk and generally it takes a week for the plant to recoup after each transplant so I like to grow from start to finish in the same pot... but that’s my 2 cents..
