COBs with Integrated Drivers

Hello Everyone - first time poster.

Any idea what the down side would be of using a few of these COBs in a DIY panel? I can't seem to get a straight info as to the effective difference between units with integrated drivers (that can be wired directly with 110) and the COBs that need an external driver.

Seems to me they would be the simplest and by far the cheapest solution, but I don't see them used much so I also have to assume there is some problem with these from a tech/application standpoint.

Any thoughts?

One advantage I see to remote mounting is to get the heat of the driver away from the LEDs so they last longer.

Rwise. Yea, that's a good point, especially given that the heat situation in my space is a serious problem. Thanks.
