I am looking to upgrade my Lighting to COB or Quantium board. I have a 4x4 grow space was was thinking 6 to 9 50w COBS or a 480w Quantium boars. Anyone with any experience with these would be great. Thansk

I run a combination of both types of lighting in my room. The cobs have better penetration but a smaller footprint while SMD.s like QB's and light strips produce a photon blanket. I'd say I would run at least 480w of cobs or smd's to give you a good PPFD across the area. SMD's usually have a few % bump in efficiency over cobs so less power will give the same amount of light.
