If they are completely seperate rooms it really won't affect both. Co2 falls straight down it is heavy compared to air. In a sealed room or tent the highest levels focus at the bottom of the tent first then build up as the amount of co2 rises. Being sealed it would stick to the sealed room it's in.
If you are using a tank you can remove the tank from the one grow area and place it somewhere between both. Then put a Y split hose from the tank with each hose running to 1 or the other room.
