Is the co2 you use for pop mechines the same as co2 u would use for plants?

Just wondering because I know when u guy co2 for welding it also contains another chemicle for sheild gas just wondering if pop co2 also contains a different chemicle or if it's fine for plants

I imagine that would be alright as it's food safe
