Cloning help

I've not had any luck with my clones from the White Widow surviving- not sure why trim them off put them in Ph'ed water then use rooting powder and put in jiffy peat pellets -using Clonex solution - 'I've got some that develop roots but nothing happens on top- transplant them then they die.I dont have a dome for them but have tried keeping them misted well. The WW was a freebie seed so I'd like to get more for my money  The last one I took was a bottom branch but this time I planted it straight in my outdoor garden-- weve had 3 straight days of rain and today the sun is shining and I just checked her and she is looking pretty good so far.

My question is-- I'm 3 weeks into flower and getting ready to trim some larfy stems from the bottom-- if I do the same with the larfy stuff and plant straight outdoors will she revert back to the veg state or continue to try to bud? Thanks for any input!
