Just would like to ask what will happen if I cloned cuttings from a plant 2 weeks into flower? I was just pruning, and got some healthy stalks. What would happen? Good idea?
Nothing unusual. If you wait much longer they may grow odd at first but will be fine.
you can take clone at most points of a cannabis plant's life - although clones may root a little faster in the vegetative stage, you can take clones up until 2-3 weeks before harvest in order to save your favorite plant for the next grow (though make sure to pinch off any buds and expect some weird looking growth for the first week or two on cannabis clones taken from flowering plants)
I took a clone from a plant 3 weeks into flower and it grew in a very unusual way but it was a great smoke in the end. Each set of leaves were only three leaves - not 5 or 7 or 9, like usual. It also grew a bunch of branches fro the ground up instead of from a central stalk. It also took longer to start to grow vigorously - it was in veg stage for over 3 months before I felt it was ready to flip to flower. Usually I veg plants for 6-8 weeks. But it was some kickass bud.
Thanks all....... i don't really care what happens to the clones to be honest with you..... I just need cloning practice. I can't germinate or clone worth shit. But if it's possible to root, i'll try.
This one was taken off of a plant 7 weeks into flower. I usually don't remove anything from the clone. I have found I get better results leaving buds, leaves, and all. Good luck.
