cloning auto flowering

So the clone would continue to bloom, no matter if it's just a cutting? So it would sprout roots begin to grow a bud, without the vegging stage?

EDIT: MAYBE but only for experienced growers? Left old post so peeps dont think im dodging. In the past it was how i originally answered but it has been a while since i have tried autos so maybe now the genetics are more stable which produces a healthier plant? Point is listen to those who have grown them recently and i'll try to remember that things change.

No. Auto flowers have a timed flower response. This means that even if you take a clone that clone will be the same age as the mother plant. The problem with this is that it wont have enough time to grow a good root system and then fill out. This means that bud development will be minimal or stunted IF you can keep the clone alive making cloning an auto a waste of time and resources. Either get more seeds or clone a photo plant but autos dont work that way.

Can't remember LOL but i believe you if you say it PRIMO. Not long ago folks were trying to that i remember but don't know what happened, do you still got a pic?

Well i may be proven wrong then. However, i wonder if it really increased the yield or did you just grow the same amount you would have if you would have left those budsites on the "mother" plant. Did they finish at the same time? Or could this be used in a perpetual grow type situation?

I will admit that it has also been a while since i have done auto's and it seems to me that the quality of auto genetics has gone up since i last grew them. I will defer to the more experienced auto grower.

Yes that is what happens, yo cannot turn back time and her clock is running. Works best if done while still in veg, it is a fun waist of time!

I tried it, and you should to, if you have room to do it, this will answer all your questions. BTDT, you can clone an auto, however it will not reveg or start over, though one can kinda stop the clock with coffee (it is poison for our girls), they wont grow but they wont finish either. Best done in veg stage for best results, have fun!

Thanks a lot, for your input. This is encouraging then. If they grow with their natural time schedule or thereabouts I will be happy. If not I can learn from It. Nothing is a waste of time if you are learning something new. How did we get where we are now by trying something new or trying our way. Growing is fun.
