HELP! Clones....

Okay I've had this clone for about 10 days and when I first got he she was about a foot tall with a tiny new growth at the very top but that was it just a few nodes of one big fan leave and no other growth and after I got her home I transplanted her waited 2 days decided to top it's my first ever cannabis plant so I'm kinda goin by the fly here but since then all her nodes are bursting with growth and topping didn't "work" cause she's alternating branch pattern but my real question is since I got her I've seen other clones ECT why was she so tall but had NO branches?

The distribution of nodes alternating from side to side usually comes with clones. Now that you topped you should see growth coming from the base of each leaf. The tall problem is likely that she was reaching for the light and trying to get proper light levels that she was reaching up and not trying to branch out to the sides. You can get CFLs really close to the leaves and adding a few more might help it get bushy.

All the dispensary clones I've gotten were just like that- grown too far from the light so they'll git tall faster to sell sooner. Just put her under proper lighting & she'll shape up.

Yes, this branch was either meant to stretch like this (to show height as a crappy sales tactic), or it was jammed in the past grow space with just way too many clones and stretched for more access to light.
proper access to light will improve results.
