Great info alltatup, thank you! I can tell you that just with my small grow, warmer temperatures and dryer air makes growing a real challenge and if that keeps increasing every year then eventually it's going to be almost impossible! Lots of great advice on that page as to how you can help mitigate the problems!

As the article noted, our only concern is not just growing weed, but it's food for thought about how the outdoor growing might go. It might have to move on a massive scale into warehouses. Not to mention other crops...

I do have my eye on a 80ac N Cal site the has a year round creek, several springs and two Meadows.

Plenty of pine and fir trees accompany the redwoods.

At least 10 flat sites that are ready to build with little to no grading.

A great southern slope crosses a 1/4 of the property. 4wd access only.

Wild turkeys, deer, some boar and bobcat, and a occasional bear.

Sounds like a dream, Smot!! Hope it's not wildfire prone; that's gotten really bad in the West... We've got to get ourselves back to the garden...

Oh absolutely. It will eventually threaten every aspect of life if we don't do anything about it.

Proper conservation practices can prevent a majority of wildfires. We no longer have a true conservation corps. Removal of dead fall and infected trees combined with planting saplings did wonders in the 30's and up to the 60's.

We are the caretakers of this blue planet, and we need to take heed because she's telling us that we have done a shitty jobs as of late.

And it really breaks my heart. Sometimes I think that the only consolation is that if we destroy ourselves and most other species (except cockroaches), the Earth will start to heal herself and her atmosphere until she achieves equilibrium again.
