In my opinion Some of the reviews are negative because they were expecting a 50- $100 quality microscope for $4, but I personally think this one is awesome and compared to the $20 one I bought years ago.
It's a little hard to tell from the pics but certainly in the first pic the trics seem to have that white plasticky look I take as a signal that my harvest window has opened up. I tend to start watching the trics about 6-7 weeks into flowering, if I'm watching them regularly then the shift to the white plasticky look is usually pretty evident to me. Once the majority go plasticky I start my flush and try to harvest a week or so later.
They look cloudy to me!! When they are clear they look like glass! When they are cloudy it will appear the same color as a plastic milk carton. I thought I got a glimpse of amber there also.
