cheep ass fans

I thought active Air was a decent company I bought 2 of their 16 inch wall mounted Oscillating fans , I bought them in Aug. one of them quit oscillating in Sept. and I just noticed the other one quit ,

Has any one had better luck with some other Oscillating fans anything over a 6 month working period ,haha 6 months It should last 6 years

You know Patton fans were decades long lasting until they moved to China. Now their fans are crap. I have discovered that the old blind Kung fu master from the Kung Fu TV series has a new job as China's sole quality control.

You might go to a thrift store , and try to locate some older fans. They should be even cheaper since it is winter.

That's how I decide on what to buy for lots of my grow stuff: I listen to what other buyers have to say. And if you look around, you might get ideas for what would work better in your grow room.

Been there done that. Finding something not manufactured in China is very difficult. Have found some supposedly made in the USA, but the reviews on them are tending negative. I bought 2 cheapest ones I could find at Walmart an there goin on a year plus... They don't osc tho just little clip fans but work ok... i have this problem but with crappy exhaust fans,.I bought an 8inch Apollo an have already had it replaced 3 times an the berings already goin in this one to... Supposed to be for grow room

Morning OJH, I've got a tower fan in my tent, it does a nice job, I'm like you with those small fans, some of them work great, some don't last a month, that tower fan works great though.

Hey OJH, it's in the back of my tent right now an I can't read the name on it, but I'll find out today some time, it's got a bunch of different speeds on it, plus it's like 34inches tall, an not much larger than a softball at the bottom.very small footprint, but puts out lots of air. Damn, good fan.

Marky I also use 6 inch clip on fans but I don't clip them on I hang them so they can swing freely good oscillating fan for small rooms

That's where I got mine Ojh, walmart, it runs 24-7 ain't missed a lick. They all gone now, all they got is heaters in there now.

I ordered a tower fan and 2 6 inch clip ons,they make pretty good oscillators lol

I got me one of those tower fans ( Westinghouse) cost a bit more but no prob bob.i keep on low and isolateing 24/7 no lights to speek of and quiet as a mouse. This is my third grow with it,and hope it lasts!!! U never know ?
