Changing lights

I'm curious about something and I'm sure this group of experienced horticulturalists may have an answer. I have just started an indoor grow with LED lighting. I'm wondering if it is best to keep the plants under the LED lights or can I occasionally take them out to be in the sunlight I get in one of my bedrooms. Is it too much of a shock on the plants by alternating the lighting or best to stay under just the LED lights?

It won't shock them but windows filter a lot of sunlight so I'm not sure they'd be better off. Plants stay really small if you try to grow them in a window and they'll probably get more light from the LED. What makes you think there needs to be more light and how big is the LED?

Didn't think to figure in the actual windows. Thank you. I don't think they need more light, just one bedroom gets a couple of hours, when it is out, and one thinks to give them a bit of natural sunlight. I have a 3 X 3 tent with a G8240 plus the 90 watt flower booster. Only had it up and growing 4 days, and I believe the light is sufficient. Seedlings are not stretching so I think the light distance is good.
