CFL at flower switch

My last grow didn't strech like the previous grow of the same strain. I'm thinking I may have had CFL's too close to plants so they didn't feel the need to stretch as much towards the light.Thinking about raising CFL's during first couple of weeks of light switch on this grow to promote streach. Does this make sense?

I try to limit stretch. The closer the light the better as long as its not burning or bleaching out the leaves. Good growing !!

Stretching your plant will end up making it hard for your branches to hold up nugs towards end of flowering

Cfls as close as possible...not all plants grow the same...same strain or not...different phenos..more stretch means more space between nodes means less big colas and more individual nugs

You may want to consider using a 6500K lamp during veg stage and then change to a 2500K for flower to get the most benefit.
