Carbon filter Oder control

My buds are starting to smell like the sticky icky. The tent is 60x 60x 120 I am thinking of getting a carbon filter would this be ok size for my grow room .will I need a exhaust to
push out the air or can I use a fan with the carbon filter, and where is the best position to place it in or out the tent ?
